LONGE HEADS TO VIR IN PORSCHE GT3 CUP AS 2015 SEASON WINDS DOWN
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Buffalo Grove, IL (August 20, 2015) - After nine of 16 rounds of the 2015 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama season, Andrew Longe sits 5th in the Platinum Cup Drivers Championship, just eight points out of third place. After two top-five finishes at Road America just two weeks ago, Longe is back to 100% after feeling under the weather during the race weekend. The Fall-Line team heads to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) this weekend and is eager to move to gain points with just a few races to go.
This weekend at VIR is critical with three races on the 17-turn, 3.27-mile course. With three times the points opportunity, is is crucial for team and driver to preform flawlessly. Longe raced at VIR in 2014 in a Fall-Line BMW in CTSC so he is familiar with the technical circuit. The young driver from Naples, FL. Is in his Rookie season of Porsche GT3 Cup and is looking for maximum points this long weekend.

The event kicks off Friday, August 21 with practice at 1:05p and qualifying at 5:20p ET. Round 11 (45 minutes) is at 8:50a ET on Saturday, August 22. Rounds 12 and (Makeup Round 4) are on Sunday, August 23 at 9:20a and 4:30p ET, respectively. All can be seen live on www.imsa.com
