Mid Summer News


Fall-Line Mid-Summer News: Spring and Summer of 2007 have proven to be by far the busiest yet for Fall-Line Motorsports. As of August 1st 2007 we are working on our 24th car of the build season. We have done everything from the relatively mild club/ drivers-ed cars, to some of the highest horsepower full blown race cars we have built to date. We are completing our 4th SCCA T2 class car of the year, and have more in the works. We have made a few changes along the way, and are doing our level best to continue to give the best service possible, while not compromising our trademark high quality work. Keep an eye on the “Latest Projects” section of the website for details on some of the builds we have been, and are currently working on! On the performance side of things, we have continued our great relationships with our manufacturers, and suppliers. We have continued to be a leading dealer for companies like Moton, Brembo, Fikse, Dinan, Evolution Motorsports and others, while at the same time developing our relationships with companies like Hawk Brakes, Kreissieg Exhaust and Alcon. We also have become one of the highest ranking dealers for HRE Wheels, B&B exhaust, and others. The 997 Porsche Turbo has proven to be an awesome car for tuning, and we are getting over 700 hp without changing the turbos. The BMW E60/63 M5 and M6 are great performers as well, and we have done a lot to them recently as well. The other car we have seen a lot of is the C6 Z06 Corvette. This car is a great combination of street and track performance, and with some upgrades, it becomes an awesome car. The other thing keeping the Fall-Line Motorsports crew busy has been the heart and soul of our business, the racing. The Fall-Line Race Team has been busy since the first of the year. Between our pro racing in the Grand-Am Koni Challenge Series, and our SCCA Club racing, which includes arrive and drive support for customers, we’ve been at it nearly non-stop. The Koni Challenge team started the year out the first weekend of the new year with a 3 day test in Daytona. 3 weeks later we had the first race of the year, back in Daytona. Barely a month later we took the SCCA rig to AZ to get a jump on the season. Next it was back to Miami for the 2nd Koni Challenge race, where we achieved our first pro podium with a 3rd place finish! Next was Laguna Seca CA for the Koni team. All in all, we have been to 6 Koni Challenge races, and 6 SCCA Races. In the SCCA Races we have achieved 5 poles, and 3 wins.
